Best Sideline Fashion Statement
St. Frances opened high school football season with a big national TV win against Miami Central in August. But somehow the football result wasn’t even the biggest statement that day.
Instead it was the fashion statement made by the Panthers’ unapologetic coach, Biff Poggi. He turned an old Gilman T-shirt inside out, cut off the sleeves and ripped a V-neck like a true “Football Guy.”
“Can’t make a Ferrari out of a dump truck,” Poggi said.
