Things didn’t look good for the Maryland baseball team after the first 22 games of the season.
The Terps were just 10-12 and in danger of missing the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season. But after that point in late March, things changed dramatically.
The Terps won 18 of their next 22, thanks in large part to Gilman alum Maxwell Costes, who finished the season with a purely insane .512 on-base percentage.
