With how crazy this week is with the MLB Draft, I’m just going to lay out my power rankings this week without commentary or comments. I’ll be back with my analysis next week, as I’ve been doing for now 11 baseball seasons.
One quick word about the Orioles’ pick of Jackson Holliday. I love it. The more I read about him and the more I watched the videos, the more I wanted the Orioles to draft him. But, all I heard was about Druw Jones and Termarr Johnson.
We now know Mike Elias is a master of secrecy. I’ll take it given the job he has done with this rebuild. Tired of it? Join the club, but given how this massive effort was impacted by the pandemic, the fact that the Orioles are 46-46 in Elias and Co.’s fourth season, I’d say it’s coming along nicely.
