2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Veteran Presence
The Orioles brought in Rougned Odor to provide a steady veteran influence for a young team … but he sure did have some moments, including an extra-inning walk-off home run against the Rays in May, a game-tying ninth-inning homer against the Rangers in July and a post-rain-delay go-ahead two-run homer against the Blue Jays in August. Odor finished the season with 88 hits … and more than a few came in big spots.
