Tickets to a potential Baltimore Ravens wild-card round playoff game will go on sale on Friday, Dec. 15, at 10 a.m., the team announced. They will be available via the team’s web site at baltimoreravens.com/tickets/playoffs.
As of now, the Ravens hold the No. 1 seed in the AFC by virtue of their league-best 10-3 record. Should they remain the top seed, they would earn a bye for the opening round of the seven-team AFC playoffs. The Ravens have a rugged final month of the season beginning this coming Sunday at Jacksonville (8-5). Then they travel to face the San Francisco 49ers (10-3) on Christmas night before returning home to finish the regular season against Miami (9-4) and Pittsburgh (7-6).
The Ravens hold a two-game lead in the AFC North over the Cleveland Browns (8-5). Should the Ravens win the division but not retain the No. 1 seeding, they would host a playoff game at M&T Bank Stadium on Wild Card Weekend, scheduled for Jan. 13-15.
If the Ravens earn the bye, any wild-card round ticket purchases will be refunded.
Those buying tickets to the wild-card round of the postseason will have pre-sale access to the divisional round, according to the team.
The Ravens have not hosted a playoff game since 2019. That year, they earned the No. 1 seed, but they were upset by the Tennessee Titans at M&T Bank Stadium in their first playoff game.
Last year, the Ravens traveled to Cincinnati for their opening playoff game and lost 24-17. In 2020, the Ravens played two playoff games, both on the road. They beat the Tennessee Titans but then were eliminated by the Buffalo Bills.
