DL Hall, Buck Showalter, Jahmir Young and Kevin Zeitler joined Glenn Clark Radio recently. Here’s what they had to say.

“I was kind of itching for years for that chance to get a few starts in the big leagues and get my feet wet and just kind of see how it goes with a few starts versus just one. For me, just getting the opportunity to get some starts under my belt and see how things go, it’s super exciting for me just to hopefully be able to shove it in some people’s face, just to kind of prove a point that I can be a starter.”
Former Orioles pitcher DL Hall Feb. 5 on his excitement to get the chance to be a starter again after being sent to Milwaukee in the Corbin Burnes trade

“Anything that eliminates excuses I think is always good. … The game has a way of exposing all of your strengths and weaknesses and believe me, Baltimore’s got a lot of strengths. I know the American League East wasn’t too fond of them acquiring Burnes.”
Former Orioles manager Buck Showalter Feb. 9 on how much new ownership can aid the Orioles if the group is willing to spend a bit more money

“I’m actually starting to like it. Last year with our struggles on the road, it was difficult. Me being able to, in this offseason, just take a step back and look at the situation at hand and [realize] that it’s just a regular game, we’re just not at home. This year, the game’s slowing down for me. [I’m] just not letting certain stuff get to me. … I do think it makes me go even harder.”
Maryland guard Jahmir Young Feb. 1 on learning to love playing on the road

“It was huge. For me that was my first playoff game and it took me 12 years to get there. No matter what anyone says, it’s hard to win playoff games.”
Ravens right guard Kevin Zeitler Jan. 23 on what it meant to him to finally win his first career playoff game
