The world No. 1 has been on fire as of late, with his putting allowing him to be lethal. Scheffler has gained a quarter stroke on the greens through two rounds, which is a massive improvement from typically losing strokes there. For juice, Scottie is +1100 to be the tournament leader headed into Sunday.
Sahith Theegala under 70.5 round score.
The second-year pro has been outstanding in his approaches over the first two rounds, gaining four strokes. Despite woes around the green so far, his approach will be more impactful at TPC Sawgrass. Theegala’s ball striking will prevail and keep him in contention headed into the final day.
