Brooks Koepka under 71.5.
Koepka got a bit too aggressive on the back, a mistake he won’t make two rounds in a row after striking his irons well and putting well enough to flow through the course around par 70.
Bryson DeChambeau under 71.5.
Bryson is completely dialed in in every way for the third straight major. His chipping is vastly underrated, and he will continue to stay near the top of the leaderboard heading into the weekend.
Ludvig Aberg under 71.5.
Aberg’s seemingly robotic tee shots found every fairway, and his approach missed only two greens Thursday. While that’s unachievable two days in a row, he’s in strong enough form to remain around par at least.
