Chris and Jill Davis
Last fall, Orioles first baseman Chris Davis and his wife, Jill, donated $3 million to the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital for a state-of-the-art pediatric catheterization and operating room. The donation was the largest ever by a Baltimore sports figure to the University of Maryland Medical Center.
This year, the couple donated $1 million to Compassion International’s “Fill the Stadium” campaign, which aims to provide at-risk children with the food, hygiene essentials and COVID-19 screenings they need. The goal of the campaign is to help 70,000 children — enough to fill an NFL stadium.
