2021 marks PressBox’s fifth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Home Debut
It’s hard to imagine anyone making a better first impression in front of the home fans.
In September, the Ravens welcomed the Chiefs for a “Sunday Night Football” home opener. The Ravens battled back to take a late lead, but the Chiefs were driving for a go-ahead score.
However, on second-and-3 from the Baltimore 32, Odafe Oweh happened.
The Ravens had been questioned for taking an edge rusher in the first round who didn’t have even a sack during his final season at Penn State. But he proved his worth quickly, punching the ball free from Clyde Edwards-Helaire and recovering the fumble himself.
