2021 marks PressBox’s fifth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Career Achievement
Towson Catholic alum Carmelo Anthony had his spot in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame solidified some time ago.
But his resume took an even more remarkable step in May, when he surpassed former Baltimore Bullet Elvin Hayes to move into the top 10 of all scorers in NBA history.
There’s just one thing missing from that resume now, which is, of course, an NBA title. Anthony signed with the Lakers in August in hopes of checking that off the list as well.
