Brandon Copeland, Vernon Davis and Jackson Holliday recently joined Glenn Clark Radio. Here’s what they had to say.

“For me, this is the dream come true, right? I was an 8-year-old kid, a 10-year-old kid, a 12-year-old kid, a high school kid and these were the games I was watching. A younger version of me was watching me today. Or there’s a kid out there right now that was watching me yesterday that’s saying, ‘I want to wear a jersey and get a sack against the Patriots one day,’ right? To me, that’s a pretty cool thing.”
Former Ravens linebacker Brandon Copeland (Gilman) Sept. 26 on why it meant so much to him to make his debut with his hometown team the day prior, even deep into his NFL career

“I wouldn’t be who I am or achieving any of the things that I’ve achieved without going to the University of Maryland. They supported me. They were there for me. I think about those days where I didn’t want to go to study hall, I didn’t feel like going to class, but they set us up for success where they put good people in our lives to make sure that we did the things that we were supposed to do when it comes to school as well as being a great human being. Without that, I don’t think I would be where I am today.”
Former Maryland and NFL tight end Vernon Davis Sept. 22 on the significance of going into the Maryland Athletics Hall of Fame and remaining involved with the program

“It’s very exciting. Every day before we play we watch the highlights of the big league game. It’s very exciting to be in an organization that is definitely headed in the right direction. All the way from Delmarva to the major leagues, we’re all playing well and there’s a bunch of talent in the organization. And the coaches are great and definitely supportive and kind of fit right into the mold of my game. I’m very excited to be here and looking forward to many more years.”
