2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Birthday Present
Seth Klarman moved to Baltimore when he was 6 and grew up in Mount Washington. He became a billionaire as a hedge fund manager and started racing horses via Klaravich Stables in 2006 and won his first Preakness as an owner in 2017 with Cloud Computing. In May, he added a second Preakness win with new shooter Early Voting, with this one being a bit more special as it happened on his 65th birthday.
