2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best “Homecoming”
Baltimore native Will Barton (Lake Clifton) has long remained committed to his hometown, with the Will Barton Foundation hosting annual back-to-school backpack giveaways, among other initiatives. But this year it was easier for Barton to make trips home, including for Angels Helping Angels’ Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner, thanks to a July trade that sent him to the Wizards. The trade reunited him with fellow Baltimore native Wes Unseld Jr., his former Nuggets assistant coach.
