2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Overtime Winner
The Army-Navy football game gets all the publicity, but the Army-Navy games in all the other sports are pretty good, too. That was certainly the case for the annual men’s lacrosse game, which took place at West Point in April. Extra time was needed to settle this one. With the Mids a man up in overtime, attackman Jack Sweeney took a feed from midfielder Max Hewitt and ripped the game-winner from about 10 yards out for a 12-11 victory.
