I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 2-0-1 ATS yesterday.
Orioles -120 Cubs — Solid pitching matchup and the weather supports the under heavily, so I do like the under as well. We have two ground ball pitchers with the wind blowing in between 10-15 mph. Cole Irvin and Kyle Hendricks both get a ton of soft contact. I love the way the Orioles are playing and they have been great in series openers. Take the Orioles.
Padres-Rays under 8 — This is the best pitching matchup of the day. Yu Darvish and Shane McClanahan face off in this matchup. McClanahan is the frontrunner for the American League Cy Young and Darvish can be very dominant. Take the under.
Pirates +110 Brewers — Love this spot for the Pirates. Rich Hill grades out unbelievably well in my algorithm. Julio Teheran stinks and grades out in the bottom five. Also I love seeing the Brewers as the most heavily bet team of the day. The public is wrong. Take the Pirates.
