Jeremy Conn’s Plays Of The Day: Aug. 2, 2023

I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!

2-1 ATS yesterday.

Yankees -115 Rays — Tough loss yesterday with the Yankees. We get Gerrit Cole at almost even money against Shane McClanahan. McClanahan has had a few rough outings, and Cole has been solid his last few starts. I’m going to bet on who I think is pitching better right now and that’s Gerrit Cole. The weather is great for hitting today.

Orioles-Blue Jays under 8.5 — Grayson Rodriguez has been pitching out of his mind since being called back up. Yusei Kikuchi will put guys on, but he generates a lot of swings and misses and has the tendency to get out of jams. I think this is a good spot for the under.

Mets-Royals over 9 — Kodai Senga is a pitcher I want to attack away from Citi Field. The Royals pitcher stinks and the Mets should have no problem scoring against the Royals. As I talked about yesterday on the show, the Royals’ bats have been better over the past week or so. Phenomnal hitting weather in Kansas City as well. Really good spot for an over.
