I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!

0-3 ATS yesterday. Awful day. Nothing went right.

Pirates -110 Reds — The Pirates have been playing some pretty entertaining baseball lately. They just beat up on the Braves this past week, and their starting pitcher grades out better in my algorithm. Andrew Abbott is good, but this Pirates team doesn’t strike out a ton. I like Pittsburgh.

Padres-Diamondbacks over 9 — The Blake Snell blow-up game is coming. You can’t put that many runners on base and expect to keep your ERA that low. Even if he does it again, he will only be in there for five innings. I love the Padres’ bats against Ryne Nelson. I like Fernando Tatis Jr. and Juan Soto to homer tonight. Take the over.

Cardinals-Royals over 10.5 — Best hitting environment on the slate. There are storms that could hit and wash the game out, but if it stays how it is currently, then I expect both teams to score a ton. Subpar pitching, hot weather and the wind blowing out makes for a great over play.
