Enrique Bradfield Jr., Cole Irvin, Ryan O’Hearn and Randy Rutschman recently joined Glenn Clark Radio. Here’s what they had to say.

“I think it’s definitely hitting. I feel like everybody knows that. But I feel like I’m also in the right place to be able to take that next step and be able to match other parts of my game. I feel like my defense is ready now to go play at the MLB level. I feel like I can run and I can steal bases like the guys in MLB right now. Now it’s getting my hitting on that same level.”

“[I was] wrestling a little bit with, ‘Dang, I want to still be a starter.’ When that [All-Star break ended], I was like, ‘All right, if this is what I’m going to be in the postseason, all right, let’s get used to it. Let’s try to do this the right way and just get the job done.’ And so if this is my role moving forward, so be it. I’m ready for it.”

“The only way I can describe it is, it’s fun. I enjoy going to the field every day. I enjoy the work. When the game starts, everybody in the dugout and in the locker room, we look at each other and we know, ‘We’re about to put a beatdown on somebody.’ It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in the game before.”
Orioles first baseman Ryan O’Hearn June 26 on what makes this team special

“It was quite a rush. The anticipation, the days before, your brain’s not thinking about what a great experience it is. It’s thinking, ‘Gosh, I better throw some pitches that he can hit out!’ Once you got there that night, the emotions and the positive energy … was unbelievable.”
