I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Orioles -225 Rockies — Cole Irvin pitching for the O’s, and they are facing the worst team in the league against lefties. I’m actually going to blind bet the Orioles in all three games this series. They have manhandled the bad teams at Camden Yards. Take the Orioles.
Astros-Tigers under 8.5 — I think Framber Valdez should be able to mow these guys down. Matt Manning is much better at home than he has been on the road. The Astros are a great team that can go off, but this Tigers team has a solid bullpen.
Phillies-Cardinals over 9.5 — I love the bats here. This is my favorite play today — so many hitters at the top of my algorithm’s list for bats and the best weather spot of the day. I’m also betting Tyler O’Neill and Paul Goldschmidt to homer today.
