I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Giants-Cubs over 8.5 — I’m going to give out the two best weather spots today and Wrigley Field is one of them. Most people will be scared away because of the pitching matchup. Logan Webb and Justin Steele are two really good pitchers and candidates for the NL Cy Young. This spot is too good to pass up. Take the over.
Royals-White Sox over 9.5 — This is the other great spot for bats today. It sucks that Bobby Witt Jr. got the day off. He graded out as the top bat on today’s slate. I love Sal Perez to homer today. I think this game has the potential to be the highest-scoring game today.
Duke +12.5 Clemson — Honestly, I don’t know what to expect from Clemson. The Tigers have been disappointing the past two seasons. This is going to be a huge game for Duke — a nationally-televised, stand-alone game. It’s a lot of points for a home dog tonight.
