I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 3-0 yesterday ATS.
Cubs-Giants over 10.5 — This is the best weather spot of the day, just like yesterday. Subpar pitching matchup, wind blowing out to center and it’s hot and humid as well. My algorithm loves the bats here. Everyone grades out extremely well. Take the over.
Yankees-Tigers over 8.5 — Another great weather spot. The Yankees just saw Matt Manning, who shut them down last week in Detroit. Manning is a much better pitcher at home. Love this spot for the Yankees’ bats and I think Aaron Judge goes yard today. Clarke Schmidt is going for the Yankees and although he is right-handed he doesn’t scare me against the Tigers. Take the over.
Mets-Nationals over 10.5 — This is the last of the three great weather spots for the day. We have fantastic hitting weather, two pitchers who grade out at the bottom of the algorithm today and bats that have been playing much better for the Nationals and Mets.
