I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. 1-0-2 yesterday ATS.
Clemson +2.5 Florida State — First off, the line has been moving in the wrong direction with all of the public money coming in on FSU and the line going in the wrong direction. Clemson is a top-25 team in my mind, but the loss to Duke has people questioning them. They will be ready for this spot, and I think they win outright.
Oregon -21 Colorado — I have been waiting for this spot. The Colorado story is great and they are going to be a problem in the future. Right now they are just a good team. I don’t think they are top 25. They won’t have their best player for a few weeks. Colorado was a 3-point favorite in their home opener against Nebraska and almost lost to an awful Colorado State team, yet everyone loves them. I think they get blown out today.
Middle Tennesse State -3.5 Colorado State — I can’t take credit for this one. Had someone talk to me about this game and the Utah State-James Madison game. He was spot on with MTSU and Utah State being in great spots today. I have no idea how Colorado State gets up for this game after playing their Super Bowl last week. Look at James Madison’s travel schedule and now they have to play at altitude, a terrible spot for them. Take MTSU -3.5 and Utah State +5 today.
