The Baltimore Orioles’ 2023 season has come to an end. The Orioles lost to the Rangers, 7-1, in Game 3 of the American League Division Series Oct. 10, as Texas completed the three-game sweep.

For the second straight game, the Orioles starter did not make it out of the second inning. Dean Kremer gave up a solo home run in the first inning and the Rangers erupted for five runs in the second, as Kremer gave up six runs on seven hits in 1.2 innings. The Orioles’ bullpen held the Rangers to just one run the rest of the way, but Baltimore couldn’t get anything going at the plate. Jordan Westburg scored the Orioles’ lone run of the game on a Gunnar Henderson single. Nathan Eovaldi went seven innings for the Rangers, allowing one run and five hits, striking out seven.

“This season was an unforgettable journey,” the Orioles tweeted after the game. “We couldn’t have done this without you, Birdland.”

Orioles great and Hall of Famer Jim Palmer summed up the feelings of many Orioles fans, tweeting:
