Saints -2.5 alternate spread
Alvin Kamara O35.5 yards receiving
Dennis Allen’s defense is too sound and opportunistic to lose to Josh Dobbs, who hasn’t been on a team long enough to play in rhythm and can’t push the football downfield. Alvin Kamara is the centerpiece of the Saints’ passing game and clears this mark nearly every week.
Dak Prescott O1.5 passing touchdowns
Tony Pollard 2+ touchdowns
The Cowboys have throttled poor competition the last few years while struggling to win against top-tier opponents. The Giants are trotting out a quarterback they don’t trust amid grand dysfunction. Mike McCarthy wants to get Pollard in the end zone. 17.5 is about as big of a spread as you’ll ever see in the National Football League, and the Cowboys’ defense will put its offense in strong field position frequently enough to capitalize.
Baltimore Ravens -4.5 alternate spread laddering up to -10.5
Gus Edwards O40.5 rushing yards
Keaton Mitchell 20.5 rushing yards
Amari Cooper longest reception O20.5 yards
The Browns aren’t explosive offensively, are missing their top three offensive tackles and will have to pitch a perfect game defensively to keep it close. That doesn’t happen often against Lamar Jackson. The Ravens run the ball to victory while Deshaun Watson forces the ball to his top target every time he gets single coverage looks against MOFC coverages.
Parlay Houston Texans +10.5 alternate spread + Trent Irwin O30.5 receiving yards.
The Texans are well-coached enough on both sides of the football to keep this game within reach against a surging Bengals team. With Tee Higgins missing, coverage shades to Ja’Marr Chase and allows Trent Irwin open looks as the primary read.
Davante Adams O55.5 yards receiving
Breece Hall alternate 60+ rushing yards
The Raiders want to run their passing game and offense through Adams, who hasn’t produced at a high level due to coaching turmoil, which takes his line as low as you’ll ever see. I consider this a virtual lock, health permitting. The Jets made the mistake of calling more than 50 passing attempts last week. That won’t happen again, and Breece Hall is too talented not to turn 15-plus touches into 60-plus yards in prime time.
