Thursday Night Football: Ravens vs. Bengals
Under 48.5 points: The Ravens and Bengals are both beaten up and will be looking to control the pace offensively. The Bengals don’t generate many explosive plays and will have to go the hard way against a stout Ravens front. Baltimore will look to take advantage of a poor Bengals run defense that’s missing one of its top run defenders in Sam Hubbard.
Rashod Bateman over 2.5 receptions: Bateman has consistently hovered around the 2-3 reception mark in the last month or so. He’s created consistent separation and the Ravens have to feed him eventually … right?
Zay Flowers longest reception over 21.5 yards: Flowers hasn’t hit this mark since the Ravens’ win against Detroit, but as mentioned, the Bengals’ defense struggles to prevent explosive gains. Last time these two teams played, Flowers split coverage and reeled in a 54-yard gain. Under the bright lights, Flowers makes a play.
Gus Edwards anytime touchdown: Edwards quietly has racked up eight rushing touchdowns overall and has found the end zone in four straight games. The Ravens emphasize him in goal-to-go situations, and he’s extremely effective as a short-yardage power runner.
Trenton Irwin over 33.5 receiving yards: With Tee Higgins out, the Ravens will do their best to make life tough on Ja’Marr Chase. Irwin has reached this mark in each game Higgins has missed. Irwin played 52 snaps in Higgins’ absence against the Texans on Sunday and will be a key part of the Bengals’ 11 personnel heavy usage.
