Thursday Night Football: Seahawks vs. Cowboys

Tony Pollard over 20.5 yards
Pollard has had 10 receptions in the Cowboys’ last two games. The Seahawks linebackers aren’t particularly adept against RBs in the pass game. I expect Pollard to take advantage early and often. I also like …

Rico Dowdle over 3.5 receiving yards
Logic is above, it’s one catch. Dowdle has had a larger workload in the last few games.

Tony Pollard touchdown
Pollard has the second-most carries from inside the 10 in the NFL (23) and will get more opportunities tonight. Regression to the mean following a long drought.

Jake Ferguson touchdown. Ladder Jake Ferguson two touchdowns. Ceedee Lamb touchdown. Ceedee Lamb two touchdowns.
These touchdown plays are cohesive. Ferguson and Lamb are tied for the third-most targets inside the 10 (9), and I like both of them to score. Parlay them any way you like. Take them as singles. Choose your own adventure. It’s a long shot for both of them to score two, but crazier things have happened.

Brandin Cooks longest reception over 19.5 yards
Ceedee Lamb is getting crazy attention and Cooks’ rapport with Dak Prescott has drastically improved. Cooks has crossed this mark in four of his last five games easily. This should be a slam dunk, health permitting.

Geno Smith under 34.5 passing attempts
The Seahawks need to throw the ball more. They’ve needed to for a long time. There are differing opinions on how this game goes, but the Seahawks are in dire need of a win after going 1-3 since the trade deadline. Pete Carroll will want to run the football and control the pace as much as he can, which leads me to my next pick.

Zach Charbonnet over 13.5 rushing attempts
The rookie back has been right around this mark and the Seahawks won’t want the Cowboys’ explosive pass rush teeing off on their beat-up offensive line.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba longest reception over 17.5 yards
Smith-Njigba needs more volume. He’s a third fiddle in the Seahawks’ pass game. This does leave him in one-on-one situations and he made an awesome over-the-shoulder snag on Thanksgiving downfield. I suspect he will do so later in the game this week, as he’s crossed this mark in seven straight games.
