College Football
Washington Huskies +10.5 alternate spread. Over 60.5 alternate total points.
The Huskies have the defensive talent to get enough stops to stay in the game. Michael Penix Jr. has performed in high-leverage situations all season, and Oregon’s corners won’t be able to hang with three NFL wide receivers led by Rome Odunze, who has dominated every opponent he has played this season. That will make this game close enough to cover.
Troy Franklin longest reception over 34.5 yards
Franklin is pure electricity with the football in his hands. He torched Washington in their last matchup, including a 49-yard reception. He’s hit this mark in eight of 12 games this season.
Bonus anytime touchdown scorer parlay: Bo Nix + Rome Odunze + Bucky Irving + Troy Franklin + Dillon Johnson.
Sneaky longshots: One of my favorite longshot plays over the last month is each team to score 1+ passing and 1+ rushing touchdown in each half. On FanDuel, it’s currently being offered at +2200. Both teams have a propensity to strike quickly and rack up points, but they also feature confident goal-line backs and seasoned quarterbacks who are efficient in goal-to-go. 1+ pass touchdown in each quarter is +270, which also feels like strong odds in a matchup between two fast-paced, juiced-up offenses.
Hedging all of these plays with an alternate total points under 66.5 can give a chance to honey hole a game in the low 60’s and protect in the event that this game turns into a sloppy, strong-willed defensive affair.
NBA
Zion Williamson over 30.5 points + rebounds
Zion has dominated the Spurs and is relatively rested. He can clean the glass enough to push a less than stellar offensive performance over 30.5 PR’s.
