Rutschman has mashed as a righty and as a DH, which he is tonight. He’s an elite fastball hitter and Hogan Harris throws about as many fastballs as any starter in baseball (59%) and gets barreled a ton, hit hard and Oakland is a tiny park.
Orioles Parlay of the Day: Adley Rutschman 2+ bases + Jordan Westburg 2+ total bases + Gunnar Henderson to record a hit and a run + Orioles -1.5.
The O’s absolutely damage lefties. Westburg and Rutschman are elite fastball hitters and have some of the best splits off of lefties in baseball. Harris’ box score stats are deceiving. His xERA is 2.5 points higher than his actual era and the Orioles are the best team in baseball against lefties thus far.
