Best Resilience
In September, Ravens edge rusher Kyle Van Noy suffered a fractured orbital bone during the team’s Week 1 loss to the Chiefs.
That combination of words is painful even to type. But Van Noy, miraculously, didn’t miss even a single game. He was back out on the field in Week 2 and recorded two sacks against the Raiders, then two more the following week against the Cowboys, then two more the next week against the Bills.
The spectacular stretch of six sacks, seven tackles for loss, nine quarterback hits and a forced fumble propelled Van Noy to his first career AFC Defensive Player of the Month honor.
