2024 marks PressBox’s eighth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Worth-The-Wait Concert
Oriole Park at Camden Yards turned into a concert venue again in September, when Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played a concert that was delayed a year due to the singer’s health issues in 2023.
It was the first time Springsteen ever opened a headline show with his 1980 hit “Hungry Heart,” allowing fans to belt out the “Got a wife and kids in Baltimore, Jack” lyrics and whipping the crowd into a frenzy.
The show was the third full concert to be played at Camden Yards, following Paul McCartney in 2022 and Billy Joel in 2019.
