2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Redemptive Record-Breaker
Calendar year 2025 did not get off to a great start for Ravens tight end Mark Andrews. His fumble and critical drop against the Bills in the playoffs led many Ravens fans to wonder if perhaps he might be traded away so the team could focus on Isaiah Likely.
Instead, the Ravens held on to their franchise tight end and he continued to be a reliable target. In November, his reliability was rewarded as he broke Derrick Mason’s franchise records for career receptions and receiving yards.
And then in December, he signed a three-year extension with the team.
