PressBox caught up with Ravens defensive back Anthony Levine.
PressBox: What is your favorite “guilty” food?
Anthony Levine: Anything my mom cooks. She’s from Louisiana, and all she does is cook. Cook, cook, cook. … She made some meatloaf and I was like, “Man, I shouldn’t be eating all this meatloaf.”
PB: What is a bucket-list place you’ve never been?
PB:Who was your favorite sports star when you were a kid?
AL: Allen Iverson
PB: What was your favorite sports team growing up?
AL: My mom’s favorite team was the Cowboys, so I rooted for the Cowboys.
PB: If you were not an NFL player, what would be your dream job?
AL: I’d be in some type of law enforcement or a coach.
PB: On a scale of 1 (terrible) to 10 (great), how good of a cook are you
AL: One. I don’t cook at all.
PB: What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?
AL: Relax. Just relax.
PB: What’s your favorite movie of all time?
AL: “Love & Basketball”
PB: What’s your favorite road city?
AL: I don’t really have one. I don’t really do anything. I just sit in the hotel. I don’t venture out.
PB: What is your favorite thing about Baltimore?
AL: Opportunity. Baltimore has a lot of opportunity. [Levine works with kids at Mervo Technical High School]. Like I said, they gave me an opportunity to work with them. I come from a small town. … I’d never seen a Mercedes before I moved here. Here you get to see so much. You get to see the harbor. I didn’t know what a harbor was. People that are from here, they’ll look at it and say, “Oh, it’s just the harbor” … because they’re used to it. When I see it, I’m like, “This is beautiful.”
