PressBox: What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

John Means: Never get too high and never get too low. Try to stay even-keeled.

PB: Is there an exercise you hate doing?

JM: Burpees

PB: What’s your favorite “guilty” food?

JM: Cookie dough ice cream

PB: What’s a bucket-list place you’ve never been?

JM: Iceland

PB:What’s your favorite pregame meal or snack?

JM: Our chef makes me a salad with steak and avocado.  

PB:Who was your favorite sports star when you were a kid?

JM: Albert Pujols

PB:What was your favorite sports team growing up?

JM: Kansas City Chiefs

PB: What would you be if you weren’t a baseball player?

JM: I’d still be a baseball coach, manager or working in a front office.

PB: What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?

JM: Relax and go to the pool.

PB:What’s your favorite movie of all time?

JM: “Warrior”
