Best Comeback

Jenn Miller rode horses to more than $1 million in earnings in 2017. But a horrific accident that November saw her thrown to the track when her horse (Green Time) collapsed at Charles Town and another horse kicked her in the head. She was left with bleeding on the brain, a broken jaw and a significant concussion.

But the story took a much happier turn in April when she was able to return to the saddle, finishing second aboard Moneymeister in a race at Laurel Park.
