Best Free-Agent Signing
It wasn’t that Ravens fans were opposed to signing running back Mark Ingram in March. It’s just that the top free-agent prize seemed to be former AFC North foe Le’Veon Bell, and when he went to the Jets, Ingram felt like a bit of a consolation.
This is why they let Eric DeCosta do the front office-ing and we get to search for funny GIFs on Twitter. Ingram was much more “revelation” than “consolation” — and at a far more reasonable cost.
