Best High School Male Athlete
The story would be good enough had Armon Harried simply scored 35 points to lift the Lake Clifton boys’ basketball team to a Class 1A MPSSAA title as a senior, but there’s more.
The Lakers’ title squad was coached by his father, Herman, a longtime staple at Lake Clifton, and Harried was the valedictorian of his class with a 4.4 GPA.
Oh, and he’s now playing Division I hoops at Canisius College in Buffalo, where he surely has more up his sleeve.
