Best Orioles Minor League Player
Ryan Mountcastle, who was selected by the Orioles with the 36th overall pick of the 2015 MLB Draft, made a strong case to be part of the big-league roster in 2020. The 22-year-old slugger slashed .312/.344/.527 with 25 home runs and 83 RBIs for Triple-A Norfolk and was named International League MVP.
The biggest question is where Mountcastle might fit into the Orioles’ everyday lineup. He was groomed this past season to play first base and left field. If he continues to hit, manager Brandon Hyde will certainly find a spot for him.
