Spotlight: Junior midfielder Logan Wisnauskas (Boys’ Latin) led the Terrapins with four goals, and senior attackman Jared Bernhardt earned a hat trick.

3. Johns Hopkins (1-2)
Previous Game: Lost to No. 8 North Carolina, 17-10
Spotlight: Senior attackman Cole Williams (Loyola Blakefield) had three goals and sophomore midfielder Garrett Degnon scored twice.

Spotlight: The game against Maryland scheduled for Feb. 22 was postponed due to an outbreak of the Norovirus among the Midshipmen. A date has not been established for the game to be made up.

Previous Game: Beat Mount St. Mary’s, 9-4
Spotlight: Junior goalkeeper Tommy Lingner had 16 saves and sophomore midfielder Brandon Galloway had four goals for the Retrievers, who held the Mountaineers scoreless in the second half.

6. Mount St. Mary’s (1-2)
Previous Game: Lost to UMBC, 9-4
Spotlight: Senior attackman/midfielder Brenden McCarthy scored twice for the Mountainers, who were stymied by the Retrievers’ lockdown defense.

7. Towson (0-3)
Previous Game: Lost to No. 12 Cornell, 17-10
Spotlight: Senior midfielder Jon Mazza (Calverton) and sophomore attackman/midfielder James Avanzato each scored twice, and redshirt junior goalkeeper Shane Brennan made 13 saves in his first start of the season. The Tigers struggled from the “X” once again, losing 21 of 31 faceoffs.
