The Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association has postponed its boys’ and girls’ state basketball tournaments, which were to be completed March 12-14, due to COVID-19.
The semifinals for each tournament — classes 1A through 4A, boys and girls — were scheduled for March 12-13. The finals were all set for March 14. The boys’ semifinals and title games were scheduled to be held at the University of Maryland’s Xfinity Center, while the girls’ games were set to be played at Towson University’s SECU Arena.
The MPSSAA stated that the games are postponed “until further notice.”
