Michael Locksley
In August, Maryland head football coach Michael Locksley launched the National Coalition of Minority Football Coaches, a nonprofit organization that aims to help qualified minority coaches rise through the ranks in college and professional football.
Locksley is on the NCMFC’s board of directors along with former Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome, Alabama head coach Nick Saban and Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
“I wanted to create an organization that would be able to help prepare, promote and produce the next group of coaches coming up through the ranks at every level,” Locksley said in a news release.
