I’m going to list my favorite plays for today’s slate of games. Things are always subject to change due to players sitting or games even being postponed. Make sure you are paying attention to any and all late-breaking news, and try to use common sense if a point spread moves up or down. The plays I LOVE are my top plays for the slate. Whether you fade or follow, good luck!

Rough day yesterday. Had someone reach out asking why I liked the Orioles yesterday … here was my thought process on it. (The pick lost.)

A team on a winning streak means nothing to me … there is a reason the A’s were only +115. Cole Irvin is not a good pitcher. Neither is Jorge Lopez, but I liked the matchup for the Orioles’ right-handed bats. Funny thing is I would have liked the Orioles if the money was split. But everyone was on the A’s and I liked the Orioles even more, especially since the A’s were coming all the way East to play the first game of their East Coast trip.

Baseball has more variance than any other sport. The public vastly overvalued the A’s, but it worked out if you bet them. The O’s had bases loaded with no outs and only got one run in. Ryan Mountcastle hit a ball to the wall that was caught. The Orioles had multiple opportunities to come through and didn’t. Not making excuses for a loss, but I wanted everyone to see my thought process on it.
