We are just about to start Week 2 of NFL preseason games. As practices continue and we start to see some trends, there are players moving up and down my draft board.

You can see the current draft board here.

Here are some highlights:

Antonio Gibson has moved into my top 10 running backs. When phrases like “a Christian McCaffrey role” start being thrown about in Washington, it’s time to start taking Gibson seriously.

Saquon Barkley is now my No. 11 running back. The offensive line is in shambles and we still haven’t seen Barkley do anything more than position drills. True boom-or-bust 2021 season coming.

DJ Moore is not in my top 24 wide receivers. Being removed from practice Aug. 19 didn’t help, but even before this news, I had moved Mr. Moore down. A healthy Christian McCaffrey plus the addition of Terrace Marshall Jr. means fewer targets for Moore. New quarterback Sam Darnold wants to push the ball downfield, which means Robby Anderson could be his top wide receiver target.

Ja’Marr Chase is my third-ranked Bengals wideout. This is not about talent but opportunity. Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are still alive and kicking. Chase will have his moments and make some splash plays, but I don’t think his target share will be what many are expecting.

Logan Thomas is now my No. 7 tight end. With Curtis Samuel seemingly stuck in neutral so far this preseason, the chemistry between Thomas and new quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick can’t be ignored. With the unsettled QB situation in Denver and Zach Ertz still playing in Philly, I’d rather draft Thomas than Noah Fant or Dallas Goedert right now.

Some other names to watch that are moving up boards: Terrace Marshall Jr., Amon-Ra St. Brown, Marvin Jones Jr., Tua Tagovailoa and Jakobi Meyers.
