Playoff Lenny turned into Thursday Night Lenny and got his owners off to a great start. Antonio Brown won the Buccaneers’ wide receiver roulette game and Jalen Hurts ran in two more scores. Other than that, we did not get much else except a Zach Ertz touchdown.
There are a slew of injury concerns and some bad matchups, and the bye weeks are here, so we may need a sleeper or two. Here are a few players (by position) I expect to have solid fantasy days who may be slightly off your radar:
Quarterback:
• Trevor Lawrence
• Taylor Heinicke
Heinicke gets the Kansas City secondary that seemingly can’t stop anyone.
Running Back:
• Darrel Williams
• Khalil Herbert
It’s “The Replacements,” brought to you by every hurt running back in the NFL. Hey, if your running back is upright and playing … start him.
Wide Receiver:
• Adam Humphries
• Christian Kirk
Humphries, see Heinicke above. I think Kirk gets the best cornerback matchup this week for Arizona.
Tight End:
• Mo Alie-Cox
• Dan Arnold
Usage is solid for both and the matchups are tasty if you are desperate.
Sleeper defense: Cincinnati Bengals
Need a kicker? Evan McPherson
