That was another entertaining game on a Thursday night. The running backs were the stars, but the quarterbacks underwhelmed. There are some injuries we have to watch out for on Sunday, so why not have some sleepers in mind just in case?
Here are a few players by position I expect to have solid fantasy days who may be slightly off your radar:
Quarterback:
• Matt Ryan
• Daniel Jones
• Trevor Lawrence
This may be my last stand for Mr. Jones — dream matchup, Sterling Shepard may be back, maybe even Kadarius Toney.
Running Back:
• Myles Gaskin
• Michael Carter
• Mike Davis
These are three running backs many are done with, but I see a pretty good chance for receiving yards with these three this weekend.
Wide Receiver:
• Cole Beasley
• Marquez Callaway
• Amon-Ra St. Brown
St. Brown went from everyone’s favorite sleeper to the dump list in a week. I think he bounces back this week with eight or so targets. Feels like a Beasley week as well.
Tight End:
• Dan Arnold
• Tommy Sweeney
Tight end hasn’t been as awful league-wide this season, but for those streaming, Arnold gets targets and Sweeney is filling in for the injured Dawson Knox.
Sleeper defense: Cincinnati against a backup Jets quarterback … sign me up.
Need a kicker? Joey Slye, 49ers
