2021 marks PressBox’s fifth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best High School Female Athlete
Eighty-four points seems like a pretty good season for a lacrosse player, right? How about 84 points in just 13 games?
That’s what Century High School’s Demma Hall did in the spring by posting 40 goals and 44 assists while leading the Knights to the MPSSAA Class 2A semifinals as a senior. She was named USA Today‘s Female Lacrosse Player of the Year for her efforts.
Hall is now at Maryland, where she’ll play for five-time national champion Cathy Reese.
