2021 marks PressBox’s fifth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Men’s Coaching Milestones
The 2020 college soccer season was delayed until the spring of 2021, meaning a pair of local coaches had to wait just a bit longer to reach coaching milestones.
UMBC’s Pete Caringi recorded his 300th career win in February with a season-opening double-overtime victory against George Washington, while Sasho Cirovski picked up his 400th win at Maryland in March when the Terps took down then-No. 6 Michigan.
Neither legend shows any signs of slowing down anytime soon.
