2021 marks PressBox’s fifth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Streak
In October, Johns Hopkins volleyball set a new NCAA Division III record by winning a 60th straight match.
The record would stretch all the way out to 66 before the Blue Jays ultimately fell to Tufts in the NCAA Tournament. We have to hope that no one on the team had a superstition that required them to not wash an article of clothing while the streak was alive.
For the year, Hopkins amazingly lost just 15 of the 109 total sets it played.
