Notes:
• The most troubling news exiting Week 9 is Bills quarterback and MVP frontrunner Josh Allen dealing with an elbow injury — something to keep an eye on if you’re an Allen or Stefon Diggs owner.
• Chicago has finally figured out how to unleash Justin Fields. The Bears are allowing the second-year quarterback to play to his strengths and Fields has responded with three consecutive weeks as a top-five quarterback, and a No. 1 finish in Week 9. He’s firmly entrenched in the QB1 discussion and has juicy matchups against Detroit and Atlanta up next.
• Joe Mixon is the perfect example of trusting a player who is getting all the touches in a backfield. He only had three touchdowns entering Week 9, but exploded on Sunday for five total touchdowns against the Panthers. Mixon is on a bye this week, but he’s a top-five running back the rest of the way.
• The Miami Dolphins are really good, but the arrival of Jeff Wilson made the running back situation tough for fantasy owners. Wilson stepped right into the action and was on the field in crucial situations at the end of the game. Raheem Mostert owners are not happy.

• The Green Bay Packers are a mess. Aaron Rodgers is visibly frustrated, and Aaron Jones, Romeo Doubs and Rashan Gary all left Week 9 with injuries. Jones got good news on his ankle on Monday, but Doubs will miss time.
• T.J. Hockenson contributed immediately in his first game with the Vikings. He saw nine targets, second to Justin Jefferson. He was tough to trust in the Lions’ inept offense, but he’s a must-start with Kirk Cousins as his new quarterback.
• We’ve got another game being played across the pond when the Seahawks meet the Buccaneers in Munich, Germany. Kickoff is at 9:30 EST, so set your lineups accordingly.
• Four teams are on a bye this week. The Ravens, Bengals, Patriots and Jets will be out of action in Week 10.
• Remember to check the weather heading into Sunday for your kicker selection.
