2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best At Long Last
Johns Hopkins women’s soccer has been one of the best programs in the area for years, having gone to 17 consecutive NCAA Division III tournaments. The Blue Jays got over the hump in December, defeating Case Western, 2-1, for the first national championship in program history. Midfielder Breukelen Woodard and forward Katie Sullivan found the net for the Jays. The title capped off a 23-0-2 campaign for Hopkins, which finished the season by tying the program record for most consecutive victories (21).
